Microsoft Released Windows 7 Updates – January 26, 2010

Four updates were released by Microsoft on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 for Windows 7. Three updates are classified as Important (KB947821, KB977074, and KB978506) and one update is classified as Recommended (KB976972).

KB947821: Description of the System Update Readiness Tool for Windows Vista, for Windows Server 2008, and for Windows 7 [January 2010]

KB977074: An update is available to improve the stability and the reliability of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2

KB978506: A Compatibility View list update is available for Windows Internet Explorer 8: January 26, 2010

Recommended Updates

KB976972: You encounter problems when you move data over USB from a Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2-based computer that has an NVIDIA USB EHCI chipset and at least 4GB of RAM
